Migration

by Matt Sommers

2004

Clocking in at 39 minutes for 22 tracks, this effort is comprised of various commercial soundtracks, weird background music, interludes, ambient effects, and some mildly-interesting guitar wanking.

My computer was getting full of these little incidental pieces, and I made a promise to myself to clean house and move on to something more ambitious - hence the title.

Allotropy Jig contains a sample I recorded from a live Lord of the Yum Yum performance.

Fly Away contains vocals by my daughter, Josie, and her friends.

The cover is a blurred overpass at night.
